Where are you?
We currently host events in Los Angeles. Weekly parties on Mondays at Los Globos and Thursdays at The Paramount, and weekly classes on Sundays in Hollywood and Santa Monica.

Do I need to know how to dance?
No experience needed. We have two line dance classes at every party, and mini partner dance lessons regularly. Part of the fun of social dance is learning together.
We offer studio line dance and partner dance classes for more focused instruction. See our schedule on our events page for more info.
What should I wear?
Whatever your comfortable in. Some folks dress up to show off, others dress down and get sweaty. You can do both.
Leather-soled boots are good for sliding and spinning. Sneakers are extra comfy and soften impact.
Do I need a partner?
No, you can come by yourself or bring a friend! Don’t be shy. Everyone is friendly and we encourage everyone to dance together.
Can I come if I’m under 21?
Currently out events at bars are 21+ but some of our special events and our studio classes are all ages. See our events page for more info.
Can allies come?
Stud Country is an explicity queer, but not exclusively queer, event. If you can respect the space and the community, and you don’t mind dancing with a bunch of queers, then you are more than welcome.
Are there sliding scale options?
We truly believe dance is for everyone, so our weekly parties are sliding scale. Anybody who wants to be there and is willing to participate can come regardless of financial status.
Sliding scale entry is available at the door, just let our friendly door person know.

Pay What You Can (No one turned away) $10 - $20 suggested
Pay It Forward (Help support sliding scale) $25+
We pay our teachers, DJs, door staff, and venues to make Stud Country happen every week. Every contribution helps.
