Queer Country 101 is a 12-week program designed to guide the country curious from zero to full-fledged country dancer. This holistic introduction to queer country dance will include line and partner dancing instruction, as well as a look into the queer history, music, and social customs so you can do country dance wherever you go.

1 hour lesson - followed by 30 minutes of open floor dance requests.

LA TWO-STEP WORKSHOPS




Two-Step Partner Dance Workshop

Our beginner class, required for all first timers, establishes a foundation of several holds and spins.

The Intermediate class, different every month, teaches moves based on that foundation.

Instructor Anthony Ivancich has been a pillar in the queer country western dance community since the 1970s.

Beginner Class
12:30pm-2:00pm
Prerequisite: None!

Intermediate Class
2:30pm-4:00pm
Prerequisite: Beginner Class

Both Classes
12:30-4pm
Prerequisite: None!

Helpful Tips...
︎You must take the Beginner Class once before taking the Intermediate Class, even if you have two-step experience.

︎You don’t need a partner to join.
︎Bring a water bottle. If you are taking both classes it is recommended to pack a snack.
